For many years Phyllis lived in a world that was not her own, a cocoon, a dream world, never able to emerge. Her real wings were hidden, as she fluttered to find her true meaning in life. "My feelings became trapped on the inside from a lost childhood, my divorce, unrealistic expectations, and other change and loss events. I went on with life as if nothing had happened , until I lost my daughter, Leslie. In the shattered pieces of the greatest tragedy I'd ever experienced, God unmasked and exposed my real wings."
